Apple Silicon ‘M2’ chip enters production: Report

While Apple is busy getting self-reliant with its M1 chips by putting them in the MacBooks and now, the 2021 iMacs and the 2021 iPad Pro, the tech giant’s next-gen Apple Silicon chip, which could be named the “M2” chip, has entered into production, as per a report by Nikkei. The report predicts that they would be available in mass supply from July this year only. If such is the case and everything happens on schedule, Apple might be in a position to use these chips in some of its upcoming MacBook models or even iPads.
