Apple raises apps download limit by 50MB on iPhones

If you’re in India and using a smartphone then in the last one year or so you are in probability rolling in excess mobile data. In this scenario, there’s one feature on the iPhone that continues to mystify users. When you try to download and app which weighs over 150MB you have to switch to Wi-Fi from mobile data in order to complete the action. Apple, has now increased the 150MB limit to 200MB.

As per a report by 9to5Mac, the last time Apple increased this limit was in September 2017. Till September 2017, iPhone users were allowed to download apps that weighed 100MB or less but it was increased to 150MB. Now it has been increased by another 50MB for iOS users.
