Apple pulls up iOS 13.1 release date, to arrive alongside iPadOS
Apple has just rolled out iOS 13 for eligible iPhones with new features like Dark Mode alongside Apple Arcade. This year the firm has introduced a new OS for iPads, called iPadOS. So you iPads won’t be getting the iOS 13 update from now on. Usually, Apple rolls out all the OS versions for different platforms on the same day but this time the plan has been changed. Until yesterday, Apple’s iPadOS Preview website revealed the OS to rollout on September 30. However, soon after the iOS 13 rollout last night, the firm changed the rollout date of iPadOS. And to much surprise, the date has been pulled up to September 24. So, the iPadOS will reach the devices six days before the previously mentioned date.
The iPhone maker also confirmed the roll out date for the next iOS 13 update, which is the version 13.1. The firm told The Verge that iOS 13.1 will be coming to iPhones on the same day when iPadOS will be released — September 24. For those unaware, iOS 13.1 is already available for those in the beta version. The version is said to make the current version more stable and bug-free.
