Apple partner Globalstar appoints former Qualcomm executive Jacobs as CEO

NEW DELHI: Satellite communications company Globalstar has appointed former Qualcomm executive Paul Jacobs as its chief executive officer (CEO). The satellite firm powers Apple’s emergency communications services.

Jacobs takes over immediately from retiring Globalstar CEO David Kagan, who had been leading the company since 2017.
