Apple may not use LCD displays in future iPads and MacBooks

NEW DELHI: Apple has always been boasting about its ‘Retina’ LCD IPS displays in MacBook and iPad devices since past several years. But it looks like the firm will soon let go of that screen give a major upgrade to both these line of devices with a new kind of display – Mini LED. We haven’t seen such displays in flagship devices yet, let it be in smartphones, laptops or tablets. Citing a popular analyst Ming-Chi Kuo, Macrumours have reported that Apple may start using Mini LED displays in MacBooks and iPads as soon as next year. However, this is just in a planning stage and nothing is confirmed at this point.
