Apple may discontinue these accessories with the new iPhones and Apple Watch
Apple is all set to host its much-awaited iPhone 15 series launch event. The company will hold its annual September event, dubbed ‘Wonderlust’, tomorrow. The event will be held at its headquarters in Cupertino, California, at 10 am local time (10.30 pm IST). The company is expected to launch the iPhone 15 series lineup, Apple Watch Series 9, Apple Watch Ultra 2 and AirPods Pro at the event. There have been speculations that Apple will launch new cases this year for iPhone 15 series and discontinue the leather cases. Now new reports suggest that Apple is planning to discontinue its entire lineup of silicone rubber and fluoroelastomer accessories.
The decision to discontinue all leather and silicone Apple accessories is seen as a significant step in a broader initiative aimed at shifting towards environmentally sustainable materials.
