Apple may be planning to launch a new coronavirus website
Soon after Apple and Google announced a joint initiative to create a contract system in iPhones Android phones respectively, Apple reportedly registered a domain name called ‘AppleCoronavirus.com’. As per a report by MacRumors, the name of the registrar CSC Corporate Domains, a company which saves domain names for large companies and Apple also uses its services for domain registrations. The DomainTools record also shows Apple Inc as the name of the registered organisation.
As far as the website is concerned– ‘AppleCoronavirus.com’– it is not yet live. Also, there is no official word about this website from Apple yet.
Meanwhile, Google and Apple have announced a joint effort to enable the use of Bluetooth technology to help governments and health agencies reduce the spread of the virus, with user privacy and security central to the design, as per a joint statement by Apple and Google.
