The latest iteration of an operating system is generally welcome as it provides extra benefits that were not available in older versions. It is generally a win-win situation for both the companies concerned and the users of their products. That is what has happened when Apple unveiled the macOS Monterey at the keynote address of its annual developers’ conference, WWDC 2021, earlier this week. With macOS Monterey, Apple is looking to bring a host of new features to its desktop-based operating system (OS). The list includes Highlights and Mentions in Notes, Universal Control and AirPlay among others.
