Apple iPhone 12, iPhone 12 Pro screen specifications are out

A lot has already been heard about the upcoming iPhone 12 series by Apple. From several leaks and rumours it has been established that the series will include four handsets this time. While the iPhone 12 and 12 Max will feature a 5.4-inch and 6.1-inch OLED Retina screens, the iPhone 12 Pro and 12 Pro Max are said to sport a 6.1-inch and 6.7-inch OLED Retina screens. However, Ross Young, the founder of Display Supply Chain Consultants (DSCC) has given some more details on the screen specs of the four models.

In a series of tweets, Young states that iPhone 12’s 5.4-inch OLED screen will be supplied by Samsung and not BOE. The expected display resolution is 2340×1080 pixels with 475 ppi and Y-Octa touchscreen tech. Y-Octa touchscreens were introduced by Samsung a few years ago with an aim to make screen panels thinner.
