Apple iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro may have this ‘big’ feature that’s yet to be activated
Months before the iPhone 11, iPhone 11 Pro and iPhone 11 Pro Max came out, there were rumours that these may finally have bilateral charging tech inside. Some leaks even pointed out that the logo has been moved slightly down in the new models only to indicate where users will have to place their Qi-enabled devices to charge them wirelessly. Unfortunately, the tech never came to new iPhones. There was no mention on the stage, dedicated iPhone pages and specification sheets, indicating that this feature might arrive in 2020 iPhones. However, it is now said that the new iPhones may indeed have reverse wireless charging feature. It’s just not activated yet.
As mentioned by a tipster named Sonny Dickson on Twitter, the new iPhones, specially the iPhone 11 and iPhone 11 Pro already have the hardware required for bilateral charging. But the feature is disabled for now. The tipster adds that this might be activated by Apple with a software update.
