Apple has some tips for parents managing their kids’ screen time

NEW DELHI: With most of us being confined to our homes these days, the amount of time we have been spending on our gadgets is probably higher than ever — which is increasingly becoming a cause of worry for parents. Due to the outbreak of the novel-coronavirus, everyone is trying to adopt social distancing but that doesn’t apply to our gadgets and while fighting this global health crisis is imperative, that certainly doesn’t mean that parents are happy to see their kids become slaves to their screens.
Thankfully, there is a feature that Apple offers for parents to manage this. Called Screen Time, this feature allows parents to gather real-time reports about how much their child spends on any Apple device including iPhone, Mac, iPad or iPod touch. It allows parents to set limits to it too.
