Apple has important security update for these old iPhones and iPads

Apple has rolled out an important update for its older iPhones, iPads and iPod Touch. The company has rolled out iOS 12.5.4 update which brings security fixes and the company recommends all the users to update their devices. “This update provides important security updates and is recommended for all users” says Apple. The build number for the update is 16H50. According to Apple, the iOS update will remove vulnerable code that can lead to memory corruption.

These security patch is for the devices that stopped receiving OS update after iOS 13, however, the company continues to push necessary security fixes. Last month Apple rolled out the iOS 12.5.3 update for the same devices. Here’s a list of devices that need to go for iOS 12.5.4 update.
