Apple has ‘good news’ for PS5 and Xbox users

Apple has introduced iOS 14.5 update for beta testers and one of the reasons to be cheerful about the new update is that Apple has included support for PS5 DualSense and Xbox Series X controllers. These controllers are not supported by the current iOS and iPadOS versions and this is a much needed ‘good news’ for PS5 and Xbox gamers.
The news about Apple adding support for these new controllers first appeared in November 2020. However, very little got revealed about the same. Apple had provided support for Xbox Elite 2 and Xbox Adaptive controllers for iOS in the past by working with Microsoft. But it took some time. With this iOS 14.5 update it appears things are going to move fast.
Meanwhile, Apple TV made its way to the Xbox One, Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S gaming consoles this November 2020. The Apple TV app will give gamers access to thousands of shows and movies from one convenient location, allowing them to enjoy Apple TV+, Apple TV channels, brand-new and popular movies, and personalised entertainment recommendations. One can subscribe to Apple TV+ on the Apple TV app directly from Xbox for $4.99 per month with a seven-day free trial starting November 10. Apple TV is also available on Sony PlayStation5.
