Apple eyeing 2022 release date for the upcoming ‘iMac Pro’?
For all those fans who just can’t have enough of the Apple products, here is something that will make them happy. Apple is reportedly working on the next-generation iMacs and the moniker that is likely to be slapped on them is “iMac Pro”. In fact, MacRumors has it that the new ‘iMac Pro’ will pack the same M1 Pro and M1 Max processors that have been recently put on MacBook Pro models. However, “an added configuration” may well feature on it too.
The reason behind the move to use this name is simple – differentiation of the product from something that may be there on, more or less, the same lines. Differentiation is necessary to ensure the customer is able to put the gadget in perspective and recall the same in detail. Here the differentiation is with the 24-inch iMac, which was rolled out earlier in 2021.
Apple iMac features will reportedly include a 27-inch mini-LED display with ProMotion technology, though some prior rumours have indicated that the next-generation iMac will have a larger display, ANI reported.
