Apple brings passkeys support for Apple ID with iOS 17, macOS Sonoma

With iOS 17, Apple is set to solve a big ‘problem’ for users of its devices. Apple ID is the ‘key’ that unlocks the full potential of iPhone, iPad, Apple Watch, Mac or any other Apple device. However, remembering its password can be a challenge for many. Apple will support passkeys for signing in with Apple ID with iOS 17. The feature has been rolled out for beta testers of iOS 17 and macOS Sonoma.

This update will allow a user to sign into any Apple web property using the designated passkey for their Apple ID, and it can be used with Sign in with Apple on the web.
