Apple brings OS updates to older models of iPhone, iPad and MacBook

Apple has a good track record when it comes to offering OS updates to older devices. If you have an Apple device, then chances are that you are sorted for at least five years of OS updates. For example, iPhone 6 — launched in 2014 — got at least six years of regular updates. The same is true for older MacBook models as well as they get minimum of 5 years of updates. After that, OS updates are not as frequent. However, now Apple has rolled out updates for devices that are running older OS versions.

According to a report by Apple Insider, the updates Apple has rolled out to older versions are —iOS 12.5.7, iOS 15.7.3, iPadOS 15.7.3, macOS Big Sur 11.7.3, and macOS Monterey 12.6.3.
