Apple adds four Macs, one Watch Series to vintage and obsolete list of products
Every couple of months, Apple adds devices to its vintage and obsolete of products. This month it’s the turn of a couple of iMac models and one Apple Watch Series model. According to a report by Macrumors, Apple has added the 21.5-inch and 27-inch iMac (late 2013), 21.5-inch iMac (mid-2014) and the 27-inch Retina 5K iMac (late 2014) models to the obsolete list of products.
The Apple Watch Series 2 — which was launched in 2016 — has been added the the vintage list of products.
What are vintage Apple products?
A vintage Apple product is one that doesn’t get regular software products. A standout feature about the iPhone, iPad or Mac is that it continues to get software updates for a minimum of five years.
