Anshoo Gaur, Ayush Sharma quit Sterlite Technologies

NEW DELHI: Sterlite Technologies Limited’s (STL) chief executive— Software, Anshoo Gaur, and company’s Programmable Networking & Intelligence head Ayush Sharma have quit the company in a top-level shakeup.

“Anshoo Gaur and Ayush Sharma, two of the Sterlite’s executives have asked to leave the company in an apparent move to cut cost amid weakening telecom business,” an industry source said on conditions of anonymity.

Gaur is the US-based Amdocs veteran who was roped in by the Pune-based optic fibre company on an advisory role in May 2017, and in June last year promoted to the position of chief executive at the company’s software business unit.
