Android smartphone users, WhatsApp calls are set to get this change

Android smartphone users, group voice calls on WhatsApp are changing. According to a report in WABetaInfo, WhatsApp has submitted a new update through Google Play Beta Program which introduces a new ringtone for group group calls on WhatsApp. The update brings WhatsApp version to 2.20.198.11. This means when users receive a group call, WhatsApp will play a new ringtone.
The new ringtone is available with the 2.20.198.11 WhatsApp update for Android users.
As per WABetaInfo, the new ringtone is for group calls only and the one-on-one calls will have the same ringtone as it is now. Seems with the new ringtone for group calls, WhatsApp aims to make it easier for users to know the type of call they are receiving before picking up the handset.
