Amity Law School organises conference on cyber crime
The Amity Law School, Amity University Chhattisgarh, organised a two-day national conference on “Cyber crime and women: Precautions and strategies” from March 28-29 in association with the National Commission for Women, New Delhi.
The prime objective of organising the conference was to determine the unpredictability of cyber space and the threats caused by the same to its users, the law school said in a press release.
On the second day of the conference, a panel discussion titled, “Techno-social – understanding the technical and social give-and-take in the virtual cyberspace” was held where eminent panelists shared their views on the same.
In the panel discussion, professor Prosenjit Gupta, member, Academic Council, Amity University, explained the various measures that could be taken to protect privacy in the cyber space.
