Amazon official: 7 staff misused firm’s products worth Rs 64 lakh

BENGALURU: An authorised representative of Amazon Development Centre Pvt Ltd in Doddanekkundi filed a complaint against seven staffers, including a woman, for misusing company products worth Rs 64 lakh.
Complainant Dhunkesh Karrde said the accused used laptops and other electronic gadgets purchased by the company for personal reasons, and did not return them. Police booked Darshan M of Kannamangala, Pratap S of Chikkabanavara, Ghanashyam of Yelahanka Old Town, Lalilt Kumar of Malur, Raghavendra J of Yelahanka, Kavita Ancher of HSR Layout and Hemant Pratap under IPC sections 420 (cheating) and 408 (criminal breach of trust).
