Amazon launched the Covid-19 health insurance for its sellers

Amazon will be providing free health insurance to its sellers for fighting Covid-19. Insurance will help to cover hospitalization and treatment as well as ambulance assistance and ICU charges of up to Rs 50,000 with the validity of one year after activation.
Amazon will be providing the insurance in partnership with Acko General Insurance which will be managing the policy delivery and handling of claims and reimbursements.
The sellers who are active on the amazon platform between January 29 to May 26, 2020, will only be benefitted from it.
Amazon India, Gopal Pillai, Vice President, Seller Services said, “While we sincerely hope none of our sellers need to use this, we want to make sure they have a sense of security and one less thing to worry about and can focus on developing their businesses.”
