Amazon Echo Dot with Clock review: The new favourite among entry-level smart speakers

If you have an Echo speakers, you have at least once asked Amazon’s voice assistant to tell you what the time is. According to Amazon, it’s among the questions most asked of Alexa on a global scale. So, Amazon decided to remedy that situation, after all, an Echo was never meant to be a clock.

For the most part, the Echo Dot with Clock is the same speaker as the Echo Dot (2nd Gen), other than the addition of the visible clock.

There are a few tiny LEDs under the fabric covering on the Echo Dot. These show the time continuously, just like a vintage digital clock would. But the usage of the LEDs don’t end there.
