All Facebook users can now transfer their pictures to Google Photos directly

Social networking giant Facebook has announced that it is rolling out the photo transfer tool globally for all its users. This new tool allows Facebook users to move their photos and videos to Google Photos directly.
The process of making this transfer is also pretty simple. In order to do this, users have to head to their Settings section and search for “Your Facebook Information.” Within that, they will find “Transfer a copy of your photos or videos.” Selecting this will lead to the platform asking the user to enter his/her Facebook account password for verification. Here, users will have to choose Google Photos from the dropdown menu. In order to confirm the transfer, the user will have to add his/her Google Photos password to complete the process.
Facebook users can perform this action through both the desktop and mobile app and once the transfer is completed, they will receive a notification on Facebook as well as an email for the confirmation on the same.
Facebook right now has collaborated with Google Photos and plans to integrate with new partners.
For those unaware, the feature was very recently made available to Facebook’s users in Canada and the US.
