Ajay Chitkara to join Ecom Express as MD & CEO

Ecom Express, a leading logistics solutions provider to the ecommerce industry, has appointed Ajay Chitkara as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer.

Chitkara, who currently serves as director & CEO of Bharti Airtel’s enterprise arm, Airtel Business, will assume responsibilities at Ecom Express from September 1. He will report to the Board of Directors of the company, the logistics company, which is backed by marquee private equity investors Partners Group, Warburg Pincus and British International Investment, said in an exclusive press statement.
