Airtel to raise prepaid mobile tariffs by 20-25%

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel on Monday on announced that it will raise traiffs for all its prepaid plans by 20-25% to move towards a higher average revenue per user (ARPU) of Rs 200, and then ultimately 300.
This is the first time in many years that Airtel has raised tariffs for most of the prepaid packs. Earlier, it had revised tariffs for a few prepaid packs.
The new tariffs will come into effect from November 26, 2021.
