Airtel segments subscribers to boost revenues

NEW DELHI: Bharti AirtelNSE 1.76 % is taking a customer segmentation approach led by partnerships to move its customers to high-value unlimited plans and bundle new services in a move to give a lift to its average revenue per users (ARPU) – a key performance parameter – for both postpaid and prepaid user bases.
The telco is also building a partner ecosystem to sweeten its offerings under both prepaid and postpaid, besides pegging priority customer services as a differentiator for high-paying customers.
