Airtel rolls out 5G services on 26GHz band across all telecom circles

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel Wednesday said it has rolled out 5G services on the 26GHz spectrum band across all (22) telecom circles in the country, in accordance with the norms set by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) to comply with the minimum rollout obligation criteria.

Airtel said that as required by the telecom department, the company has already fulfilled the application criteria and requisition for complying with the minimum rollout obligation norms following which the DoT has carried out testing in Mumbai LSA.
