Airtel revises 4G hotspot plans to compete with JioFi, now starts at Rs 399 per month

Reliance Jio disrupted the telecom market in 2016 with the launch of its 4G services. The competitive pricing and plenty of data offering made the users happy and created stiff competition in the market. Apart from introducing monthly plans, the telecom operator also launched a WiFi hotspot dongle — JioFi. With the launch of JioFi the other telecom operators were forced to bring down the price of their dongles.

Now, in order to give tough competition to Reliance Jio rival telecom operator Airtel has updated its monthly plans for the hotspot dongle. After the revision, the monthly plans from Airtel now start at Rs 399.
