Airtel partners Cisco, Ericsson, Nokia, Accenture, others to test 5G use cases for enterprises
NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel Monday said it is collaborating with global consulting and technology companies such as Accenture, Amazon Web Service (AWS), Cisco, Ericsson, Google Cloud, Nokia, Tata Consultancy (TCS) to test enterprise-grade use cases using high-speed, low-latency 5G networks.
Airtel added it is working with brands such as Apollo Hospitals, Flipkart, and other manufacturing companies to demonstrate 5G-based solutions.
The Sunil Mittal-led telco said the solutions will be deployed on 5G test spectrum allotted by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT) and includes use cases such as Smart Factory, Smart Healthcare, 5G-powered Quality Inspection, Digital Twin, connected frontline workforce, and AR/VR-based use cases, amongst others.
