Bharti Airtel’s Mauritius arm Network i2i plans to raise $250 million (nearly Rs 1,800 crore) via perpetual bonds to reduce debt, as the telecom operator builds up a war chest for its adjusted gross revenue (AGR) dues along with network expansion and auctions.
The Sunil Mittal-led telco said the funds would be in addition to the $750 million (about Rs 5,400 crore) it raised through perpetual bonds in October last year.
