Airtel launches new Rs 289 prepaid plan with 1.5GB 4G data per day

NEW DELHI: Telecom operator Airtel has launched a new prepaid plan priced at Rs 289 for its customers, as reported by GadgetsNow.

The plan offers benefits like unlimited local and STD calling along with 1.5GB high-speed data per day and comes with a validity of 28 days.

In addition to these benefits, customers also get access to Zee5 premium, Airtel Xstream Premium subscription, access to Wynk Music, and free online courses for one year from Shaw Academy.

The new plan competes directly with the Rs 249 from Reliance Jio. The 4G-only telco offers 2GB high-speed data per day and 100 free SMSes per day. Users also get 1,000 minutes of Jio to non-Jio calls. The plan additionally offers complimentary access to MyJio apps and carries a validity of 28 days.
