Airtel introduces Rs 148 prepaid recharge plan, here’s what users will get

Sunil Mittal-led telco Airtel has announced a new plan for prepaid users in its Andhra Pradesh and Telangana circle. The company has introduced Rs 148 prepaid recharge plan which comes with validity of 28 days.
Announced under the Special Recharge STV combo, the plan offers unlimited voice calling benefits for all 28 days. In addition, users will get 3GB total data and the other benefit of 100 SMS per day. The plan further comes with access to Airtel TV app and music streaming through Wynk Music.
Airtel’s Rs 148 plan will compete with the rival Reliance Jio’s Rs 149 prepaid plan. Reliance Jio Rs 149 recharge plan too has a validity of 28 days. The plan comes with unlimited voice calling data and unlimited SMS. Jio users get 1.5GB data per day under the plan. This means that they can avail 42GB total data as part of the prepaid plan.
