Airtel hired 7,248 new employees in FY23, spent over Rs 101 mn on trainings

NEW DELHI: India’s second-largest telecom operator Bharti Airtel hired 7,248 new employees in the fiscal year 2023.

“We, at Airtel, believe that we have best-in-class talent in our organisation. We aim to create long-term value for our people while keeping diversity, inclusivity and employee wellbeing at the core,” Airtel said in its annual report for FY23.

The telco said that aligned with its business goals, its human capital development strategy focuses “towards building meaningful careers, developing impactful leadership capabilities and delivering a superior employee experience”.
