Airtel crosses 2 million 5G users mark in Tamil Nadu

NEW DELHI: Bharti Airtel Thursday said it has crossed the 2 million unique 5G users in Tamil Nadu. The Sunil Mittal-led telecom operator has also achieved 2 million 5G unique users mark in Mumbai, as well as in Andhra Pradesh and Telangana.

Airtel claimed that its 5G Plus service is now available in over 500 cities and towns in Tamil Nadu.

“Coimbatore, Madurai, Trichy, Tiruppur, Hosur, Vellore, Salem are among the 460 towns along with 173 villages to have benefited in the state,” said Airtel, adding that its 5G Plus service already connects all railway stations, bus terminals, highways and important business hubs across the state.
