AI to revolutionise UP STF

The Uttar Pradesh Special Task Force has initiated the process of acquiring the Artificial Intelligence-based Criminal Data Creation and Retrieval System, which will enable the force to have the complete profiles of criminals on the click of the mouse.

“UP STF aims to enhance action against crime and criminals in the state,” said STF ADG Amitabh Yash.

He said that working on Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath’s zero-tolerance policy against crime, the UP STF planned to establish the Artificial Intelligence-based Criminal Data Creation and Retrieval System at a cost of Rs 3 crore for which tenders had already been floated and four companies had also shown keen interest in installing the system in the state.
