Ahmedabad emerging as tech hub: Report

AHMEDABAD: Ahmedabad is emerging as a potential technology hub and is expected to be the next prominent centre after Bengaluru, according to a report released by Deloitte India and Nasscom on Tuesday.

With its favourable business environment, infrastructure development and availability of skilled workforce, Ahmedabad is attracting the attention of technology companies and investors, the report said.

Focusing on 26 cities of high potential, the report — Emerging Technology Hubs of India — examines five overarching pillars like talent, infrastructure, risk and regulatory environment, startup ecosystem, and social and living environment that are vital to establishing a flourishing technological landscape.
