AGR issue a distraction for telcos; but India still at the centre of Ericsson’s strategy: Nunzio Mirtillo

NEW DELHI: Swedish telecom gear maker Ericsson termed AGR issue a distraction for telecom operators in India and said that the government should deal with the situation quickly, paving way for the industry to focus on core business.

“…there has been a bit of distraction when it comes to the AGR discussion. The company said that India offers a ‘solid’ opportunity, especially after Facebook’s investment in Jio Platforms.
