After SC refuses to stay Madras HC order, Tik Tok says it has faith in the Indian judicial system

NEW DELHI: China’s Tik Tok, stuck in a legal tussle after the Supreme Court on Monday refused to stay the Madras High Court order imposing a ban on the app said it has faith in the Indian Judicial system and the stipulations afforded to social media platforms by the Information Technology (Intermediaries Guidelines) Rules, 2011.

The company said it is committed to ‘continuously enhancing its existing measures and introducing additional technical and moderation processes as part of its ongoing commitment to its users in India.’ The Supreme Court has posted the matter for the next hearing on April 22 as the case is coming up in the Madras High Court tomorrow.
