After LinkedIn, Elon Musk to take on Google Meet, Zoom with X Conferences feature

Elon Musk’s X, previously called Twitter, maybe coming to eat Google’s lunch. Rumour mills suggest that a new service, “X conferences”, is in the works that could be an X alternative to Google Meet, Zoom, and others.

The microblogging platform has been on a launch spree, expanding its functionalities beyond just, well, “microblogging.” After taking a leaf out of LinkedIn’s textbook and starting job listings, the platform seems to have set its eyes on facilitating web conferences, similar to Google Meet.
