. The Cupertino-based tech giant’s latest A17 Pro chipset, which powers the newly launched iPhone 15 Pro and iPhone 15 Pro Max. According to a report by the China Times, Apple was the only company that was able to acquire most of TSMC’s 3nm nodes produced in 2023. This happened because 3nm wafers were priced at $20,000 per piece and yields were only 55%. This left Apple as the only firm willing to pay the price.
