Adobe adds Generative Fill to Photoshop: What is it, availability and more

Adobe has unveiled Generative Fill co-pilot in Photoshop which brings Adobe Firefly generative AI capabilities into design workflows. The company, which is known for its suite of creative software, claims that Generative Fill is the world’s first co-pilot in creative and design workflows.

The tool enables users to add, extend or remove content from images in seconds by using simple text prompts. It is to be noted that this is a beta release and the company will soon integrate Firefly across (Photoshop, Premiere Pro, and Lightroom), Document Cloud (Acrobat Reader and Adobe Scan), Experience Cloud (software for analytics, advertising, and media optimisation) and Adobe Express.

Adobe Firefly is a family of creative generative AI that will allow content creators to generate high-quality images and text effects by providing text inputs.
