Access Points at GPs

A top bureaucrat in the department of telecommunications (DoT), continues to indulge in non-transparent methods in the award of high value government contracts to private parties in a circuitous manner. Besides, the same bureaucrat has deviated from government’s policy of provisioning of high speed fiber connectivity at each Gram Panchayat (GP) under BharatNet by allowing common service centres (CSCs) to take away GPON installed at GPs to their own private places. This means, even the fiber laid upto GPs has become redundant.
