Aadhaar: SC order flouted in W Odisha
The Supreme Court has ordered on September 26, 2018 that it is compulsory to link Aadhaar card with PAN card for Income Tax return and no private company will demand Aadhaar card to their customers for any other matter. But all banks of western Odisha are demanding Aadhaar cards to their customers compulsorily for various transactions.
In Bargarh, without Aadhaar card, no one can open their bank pass book. Private companies are also demanding the document as mandatory for providing various services. In clear breach of the SC order, the general people are harassed on Aadhaar card count. So it is demanded that Supreme Court come out with an order to ensure punishment to those who flout the order.
