Aadhaar leak ‘impossible’: UIDAI

The UIDAI on Thursday told the Delhi High Court that media reports of Aadhaar data breach were “misleading”, adding that it was “impossible” to crack its encryption technology.

The UIDAI, which collects a person’s photograph, fingerprints and iris scans before he or she is issued a 12-digit unique identification number, has consistently denied several reports of alleged leakage of Aadhaar data.
