A phone that fully charges in 17 minutes may come soon

Alot of consumers prefer a smartphone that can charge fast over a smartphone with a massive battery, considering the demand of modern times, when speed is the need for professionals. Global smartphone makers seem to have made a note of this and going by the recent tech innovations, we might see phones in future that can charge from zero to full incredibly fast. Case in point- a 100W fast charging tech that’s said to completely charge your phone from zero to full in 17 minutes.
There are two Chinese smartphone makers that are working on their fast charging technology: Xiaomi and Vivo. Vivo claims to be developing a 120W fast charging tech (FlashCharge) while Xiaomi is working on 100W fast charging (Super Charge Turbo). Of the two, Xiaomi may be the one that launches a device with 100W fast charging support first.
As per GizChina, Xiaomi may launch its Mi Mix 4 with support for 100W charging. Some images appeared on Weibo, promoting Xiaomi’s 100W charging tech in a banner.
