Strategic for India to attain ‘Atmanirbharta’ in crucial technology segments: MeitY secretary

NEW DELHI: It is critical and strategic for India to achieve ‘Atmanirbharta’ (self-reliance) in crucial technology areas, such as high-end computing, according to a top official of the Ministry of Electronics and IT (MeitY) Friday. S Krishnan, Secretary, MeitY expressed confidence that domestic companies can play a role in developing technologies while competing with the best-of-breed global firms.
