Smartphone renewing startup ControlZ raises $3 mn in seed funding, co-led by 9 Unicorn, Venture Catalysts

NEW DELHI: ControlZ has raised $3 million in a mix of debt and equity in a seed-funding round, co-led by 9 Unicorn and Venture Catalysts, which will be utilised towards bolstering automation and developing advanced testing labs for renewing smartphones.

ControlZ said it aims to “strategically deploy” the capital injection to drive growth and bring in advancements in the overall ecosystem with the objective of further improving the quality of its products and reducing costs for its customers.

“With this development, we are certain about raising the overall industry standards,” said Yug Bhatia, Founder and CEO of ControlZ. “With these resources, we aim to further strengthen our technology by automating the complete renewal process. Our efforts are towards increasing the lifecycle of as many devices possible.”
