HPE plans to place global leadership in Karnataka: Govt

American multinational IT corporation HP Enterprise which currently employs 8,000 people in India as part of its commitment to the “Make in India” campaign, is in discussions with Karnataka for setting up a manufacturing facility of servers in Mysuru amounting to a turnover of $1 billion, State industries minister MB Patil’s office said in a statement on Thursday.

It stated that the two new buildings at Mahadevapura (Whitefield) in Bengaluru would be unveiled soon, as per Patil’s office.
