Vodafone Idea partners Paris-based Team Vitality to grow esports ecosystem in India

NEW DELHI: Vodafone Idea has partnered with Paris-based esports organisation, Team Vitality, to grow the esports ecosystem in India.

Vi and Team Vitality aim to jointly create opportunities and exposure to esports fans and gaming enthusiasts alike, said the telco in a statement Wednesday. It cited a ‘State of India Gaming Report 2022’, according to which the Indian esports industry is expected to grow to $140 million by 2027.
